Lendmark Financial Services (“Lendmark”) reports information about your account to the three main credit reporting agencies (CRAs), Equifax, Experian, and/or TransUnion. Under the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003, you have the right to directly dispute the accuracy or integrity of the information that Lendmark has reported to the CRAs. You may also contact each of the CRAs directly to dispute the accuracy and integrity of the information reported by Lendmark.
In order to protect your rights regarding any disputed account information, for disputes sent to Lendmark you must do the following:
All direct disputes should be sent to Lendmark at the following address:
Lendmark Financial Services
Attention: Loan Administration Department
2118 Usher Street NW,
Covington, GA 30014.
To avoid delays, you should not provide your dispute notice to a Lendmark branch, send to the address on your statement for payment processing, or any other address.
Your dispute notice must include enough information to identify your account at Lendmark Financial Services. At a minimum, please include your name, address, and account number.
You must specify the exact information being reported to the CRAs by Lendmark that you are disputing and the reason you believe that it is inaccurate.
You should also provide any documentation or other information to support your dispute. For example, you may wish to provide a relevant portion of a credit report that you feel contains inaccurate information, account statements and/or proof of payments, a copy of a police report or an affidavit of forgery in cases of fraud, etc.
If you would rather submit your dispute directly to any of the three CRAs that Lendmark reports to, you can do so by following the instructions provided on their respective dispute webpages listed below:
